Construction Force Services is seeking individuals for a 30 day temp to hire position, working primarily in the Long Island area(s).
The roof mechanic will perform tasks involving physical labor on residential & commercial rooftops and properties. He/she maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe. The mechanic utilizes their skills to perform skill related tasks such as but not limited to, installing roof systems and roof repairs.
Work Skills – Roof mechanics must exhibit technical skills necessary to perform roofing tasks.

The position must climb to rooftops and remain on rooftops for extended periods of time. The position lifts
heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse
field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limbed coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
